Hector D. (Nick)'s Story
Greetings All,
We have been really busy.
Last year we decided to make a difference in our community. We essentially took over responsibility of a 22-acre park named Washington Park. We have evolved into a not for profit that is holding three municipalities accountable to the community that surrounds the park. We live in the heights in Jersey City, which is just across the Hudson River from Manhattan. The views are spectacular.
- We are constantly working. Today we were part of a groundbreaking ceremony for the revamping of our baseball fields.
-We are organizing Mayoral and City Council forums scheduled for early April.
-We have a planting event in June and a Centennial Celebration in September.
What a gift to have been given such a spirit to create a huge difference for ...Expand for more

Oh, did I mention Both Mory and I have full-time jobs and I have a contractor and interior design business as well... I also look for more projects like applying for grants to expand our park to encompass the Palisades Cliffs...

I never have time to get on this site but it is great to see what people are doing although my memory fails me sometimes. Too much parting back in the day... Mainly Houston. Don't get me wrong I loved every minute of it.
